Role Summary
In this role you will report into the Manager, Engineering. You will be part of an exciting new team that has the opportunity to design, build and test from start to finish. First you start out designing systems to automate industrial tasks. Next you will get to create mechanical design documents and models for Flowserve products. Finally, you will get to build and test the designs.
Responsibilities
Engineering principals to development, deployment and support of production processes, equipment, and test systems to improve the reliability and manufacturability of new and existing products.
Sound knowledge in evaluating issues that arise in production and drive resolution. Assist in evaluating failed units returned from the field.
Evaluate and adopt the latest in new technology and research when applicable.
Assist manufacturing with new production.
Provide technical assistance to Sales and Marketing for new products.
Requirements
Bachelor's / Master’s degree in Mechatronics /Electronics/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering.
Minimum of 8 years’ experience in mechatronics engineering in digital products such as positioners and smart valve technology.
Proficiency with computer software design tools (word processor, spreadsheet, internet, CAD,).
Good knowledge of writing technical reports and training materials and keeping laboratory documentation.
Knowledge to design, model, fabricate and test new process systems and test systems in a thorough and timely manner.
Instrumentation experience and knowledge.
Knowledge of digital products and smart valve technology.
Ability to work on Engineering documentation for bills of material, product support, and product line extensions.
The ability to diagnose problems through the application of theory and testing.
