Position Description:

As

a Cash Collector Supervisor in our BSC in Budapest you lead the team that

collects unpaid invoices on customer accounts. You are accountable for the Cash

Collection activities of 120+ collection portfolio and handle independently

complex cases. If needed, you discuss complex issues with the Accounts

Receivable Manager to whom you report into. Also, act as a backup of the AR

Manager in daily operations.

In

your role as supervisor, you drive collections by motivating your team to

achieve their targets and KPI's. You also motivate them to be a role model

regarding relationship building over the phone, for example by providing

coaching and training on this topic to your team. If required, you initiate a

recovery action plan if needed to have a positive trend in performance.

Position Requirements:

In addition, you:

  • Maintain transparent, accurate and standard collection notes on 120+ cases;

  • Train and mentor new and existing team members;

  • Initiate development plans for low performers and provide growth opportunities for strong performers in your team;

  • Drive improvements by engaging and motivating the team and through cross-functional and professional partnership with other teams (IT, Transition, CIP);

  • Frequently review sales order that are put on hold;

  • Maintain documentation as per internal controls & SOX audit requirements;

  • Support the organization and your team with timely month-end closing;

Preferences:

You are our ideal colleague if you…

  • Have a minimum of four years of relevant experience and proven people management experience;

  • Have the required bachelor’s degree: a degree in finance or business is preferred

  • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and any additional languages for the market or clients you will be supporting;

  • Understand the end-to-end Order to Cash process;

  • Have solid knowledge and experience using ERP systems (such as Oracle, SAP);

  • Are comfortable with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint;

You as a person

  • Are naturally establishing and maintaining effective work relationships with partners, which includes your team and the senior leadership-team;

  • Have strong analytical, research and problem-solving skills and the ability to quickly identify and resolve issues through root cause analysis;

  • Are able to train and coach other team members: on their work, and also to provide mentorship in prioritization to your colleagues;

  • Have strong interpersonal and leadership skills to lead and motive a team of 8-15 people;

  • Have a continuous improvement mindset is and are driven to realize the best results (LEAN Six Sigma is preferred);

  • Are willing to travel up to 10% internationally.
