As a Cash Application Supervisor in our BSC (BusinessService Center) in Debrecen you lead the team that applies cash to ourcustomer's accounts. In this leadership role, you manage and motivate people and have frequent interaction with the Accounts Receivable Manager. You are accountable for applying cash from relevant lock boxes or bank accounts to the correct customer accounts. You investigate and follow up on unapplied items and research and respond to AR accounting questions and issues with your team ofSherlock Holm’s.
Our clients are divided in the EMEA and USA market, andthat’s why we ask you to be fluent in English, and speak an additional(European) language, such as German, French, Spanish or Dutch. We have only business-2-business (B2B) clients, and your team members work for a selected market or set of clients.
In addition, you:
Reporting: prepare reports for the monthly GL reconciliation;
Perform day-to-day accounting tasks: account reconciliation, journal entries and netting;
Assist with month end closing;
Maintain the customer master records;
Complete transactional requirements for financial reporting;
Maintain continuous improvement process mentality;
Conduct detailed analysis without any supervision;
Collaborate with senior and upper level management;
Compliance and adherence to financial principles and corporate policies;
Working together with the Credit & Collections Team to make Flowserve customers happy :)!

You are our ideal colleague if you…
Have a minimum of four years of relevant experience andproven people management experience;
Have the required bachelor’s degree: a degree in finance orbusiness is preferred;
Have excellent verbal and written communication skills inEnglish and any additional languages for the market or clients you will besupporting;
Understand the end-to-end Order to Cash process;
Have proven knowledge and experience using ERP systems (suchas Oracle, SAP);
Are comfortable with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Wordand PowerPoint.

Are naturally establishing and maintaining effective workrelationships with partners, which includes your team and the seniorleadership-team;
Have strong analytical, research and problem-solving skillsand the ability to quickly identify and resolve issues through root causeanalysis;
Are able to train and coach other team members: on theirwork, and also to provide mentorship in prioritization to your colleagues;
Have strong interpersonal and leadership skills to lead andmotive a team of 8-15 people;
Have a continuous improvement mindset is and are driven torealize the best results (LEAN Six Sigma is preferred);
Have a strong sense of responsibility, and stay professionalin challenging situations;
Are willing to travel up to 10% of your timeinternationally.
