Position Requirements:

Plan

o Proactively develop in partnership with leaders both short and long term staffing plans/objective.

o Complete headcount forecasting activities accurately and on schedule, while providing counsel to business leaders on interpretation and use

· Attract / Acquire

o Execute talent acquisition programs/solutions to meet business needs

o Develop hiring manager capabilities, ensure Hiring Manager Training deployed

o Proactively engage in and influence selection process for managerial/other key hiring decisions

· Engage/Direct

o Provide counsel to people leaders to drive increased performance through coaching, performance improvement plans and progressive disciplines

o Complete required investigations and ensure execution of corrective actions, with formal investigation reports submitted to Business Integrity & Compliance

o Monitor and ensure compliance with employment laws and labor agreements, minimizing litigation, disputes, and grievances/arbitrations partnering with the Flowserve Regional legal advisor as needed

o Counsel managers regarding compensation, benefit, and job change requests to ensure understanding of and alignment to global policies, practices and philosophies, including elimination of non-approved, non-standard reporting relationships and achieving appropriate pay to market ratios

o Influence location strategies and implement supporting HR solutions that drive continuous improvement in engagement at all employee levels. Continuously improve voluntary turnover metrics

o Manage day to day employee representative relationships ensuring collaboration and effective resolution with applicable Works Councils/Unions and Collective Bargaining Agreements

o Advance/Develop

o Counsel Managers on deployment of CPP process, actively encouraging robust performance differentiation, honest and direct feedback, and proactive development planning

o Deliver COE-supplied training content where required, and facilitate competency validations specified by Corporation in support of core on-line training programs

o Coach and advise leaders to develop individual and team competencies and behaviors

· Separate

o Propose/Review termination requests for compliance with FLS process, and to ensure effective management of FLS risks.

· Active sponsorship of Service Delivery Model initiatives to ensure HR and employee alignment, accomplishing increased usage from employees during course of the performance year.

· Robust contribution to assigned regional HR process improvement and/or content development teams to drive process harmonization and efficiency.

· Data integrity: Utilize HR databases on a monthly basis (minimum) to run the standard audit reports to ensure data accuracy throughout the performance year

Position Description:

This HR Generalist role is responsible for the local delivery and execution of HR programs and policies as well as providing day-to-day HR support to people managers and leaders within the Flowserve operations across various sites within the UK. Working closely with Flowserve's internal Centers of Expertise (CoEs), Shared Service support, Regional HR Representatives contribute to resolution of issues which require professional-level consulting and decision making skills. Work along side the Talent Solutions Business Partners to support the identification local HIPOs and talent and work on development action plans.

Preferences:

Proven HR generalist experience in a Multinational organisation. Knowledge and experience of change management and leadership development programs. Able to drive change and take ownership of initiatives and other HR matters. Build sound working relationships and influence leaders in their people plans.
